Kate's Skating Summer Day Camp 2010

Thank you for your interest in Kate's Skating Summer Day Camp. We are very excited to be able to offer such a wonderful program this summer. We will provide your child with a supervised,fun,excited, and safe summer. Our summer day camp is for all children between the ages of 5 to 12 years old. Each week will feature a special field trip, wet and wild Wednesdays, themed Fridays, atrts and crafts, fun games, and daily rollerskating. Campers will be placed into groups according to their age. All arts and crafts and special activities will take place while they are in their group. All field trips will be taken on Tuesdays and Thursday. On Tuesdays ages 5-8 will go and on Thursday ages 9-12 will go.

WE ARE SO EXCITED ABOUT THE CHANGES MADE TO OUR PROGRAM THIS YEAR! WE HAVE NEW FIELD TRIPS AND TONS OF NEW ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR YOUR CHILD! THIS WILL BE A SUMMER LIKE NO OTHER WE HAVE EVER HAD HERE AT KATE'S SKATING CENTER!

FINANCIAL POLICY

There is a $75.00 registration fee for every child attending our summer camp this year. This fee must be paid at the time of registration. This fee must be paid whether you attend one week or all ten weeks. The weekly fee will be $105.00 for the first child and $100.00 for the second child.

A bag lunch will be needed every day. A lunch will not be provided. This price includes their snacks, activities and fieldtrips.

The weekly fee for everyone is due on the Friday before the upcoming week or by Monday of the current week. There will be a $20.00 late fee accessed for any payments made after Monday. This will be enforced so please make sure you pay on time.

Kate's Summer Camp ends at 6pm each day. All campers must be picked up and signed out by 6pm each day. There is a $10.00 late fee for the first ten minutes then $1.00 for each additional minute after that. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.

Monday Morning in the Park

We will be spending Monday mornings in the parkl every week. We will leave at 9 am and return at 12pm. The children will eat lunch there and have plenty of time to play on the many items of playground equipment! Please make sure they have appropriate clothes and shoes on. Also please make sure they have sunscreen on as they will be in the sun.

Wet-n-Wild Wednesdays

This year Wet-n-Wild Wednesdays are bigger and better! Every other week we will be doing the waterslide provided by Bounce Aruond Rentals or we will be attending the Winchester Pool in Monroe. In order for your child to participate in these activities every Wednesday please make sure they have their bathing suit, sunscreen, a towel, and a dry change of clothes. This is very important. Also please make sure their sunscreen is labeled with their first and last names.

LUNCH AND SNACKTIME!

We will be providing two wholesome snacks each day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. A packed lunch will be needed each day. Lunch will not be provided for your child. Please make sure that your child's lunchbox is labeled with their first and last name.

Morning Drop Off and Afternoon Pickup

Each child must be signed in and out each day of summer camp. This is very important. Your child must be signed in by 9:00am each and every morning. your child must picked up by 6:00pm. If your child wishes to stay for a skating session after the end of summer camp you must com ni and sign them out. An authorized person wh is on the pick up list must pick up your child. We will check I.D.s for any person whom we are not familiar with. If an unauthorized person comes to pick up your child and we have not been notified by you then they will not be allowed to pick up your child.

Specials for Attending Kate's Summer Camp

For attending Kate's Summer Camp or Kate's Afterschool Program you will recieve $10.00 off of any birthday party package for your child attending the program. You can also recieve 10% off any skate purchase for the child attending the program.

Dress Code

No sandals or open toed shoes please. Please send your child with tennis shoes each day. We will be going outside every day if the weather permits. We want your child to be cool and comfortable for the hot weather. We also ask that girls do not wear dresses and skirts. Appropriate attire would be shorts and a t-shirt everyday for camp.

YOUR CHILD WILL BE GIVEN A T-SHIRT. THIS SHIRT MUST BE WORN TO EVERY FIELD TRIP WE ATTEND! PLEASE SEND SUNSCREEN WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON IT AND A TOWEL FOR OUR WET AND WILD WENESDAYS.
